I will never understand why people feel the need to gravitate towards some massive population centre when remote-working is so viable.

Why pour most of your money into the city when you can have the same salary and live in a house that’s a fraction of the cost of its urban equivalent, surrounded by clean air, peace-and-quiet, and open spaces?

Why does the sardine-tin city still have any allure at all?
